Character Info
Name:
Nascha Sanuye Keezheekoni
Gender:
Female
Race:
Wolf Faunus
Age:
23
Personality:
Nascha is a strong and fiercely independent woman. She was born a leader and is extremely protective of both her friends and her faunus heritage. She has a short temper, and often lashes out at those who she thinks have insulted her. That being said, she is also quick to cool down. She has a very serious disposition, and is rarely anything more than angry or bitter. She relishes fighting, and will often pick a fight with someone, or something, if she is in the mood for it. She is generally trusting of faunus, but is constantly suspicious of humans, and actively avoids contact with them.
Appearance:
Nascha is relatively short in stature, measuring only 5’ 6” (167.5 cm) and has a slim build with a generous bosom. She has dark, tan skin and long, flowing, bright scarlet hair that reaches down past her waist. A pair of canine-like ears are on top of her head, the fur on them matching her red hair. She also has a fairly long, fluffy, grey and black tail that she lets hang out behind her.
Representation:
Geronimo
Color:
Scarlet
Semblance:
Called Ndaa K'ehgodih, Nascha’s semblance comes in the form of a shimmering, translucent shield that hovers about two feet from her body. This shield is a circle with a diameter of about 2.5 feet. This shield, at the expense of aura, can slow and deflect projectiles to harmless speeds, and transforms said projectiles into water. She directs the shield with her hand, so often needs to position it before she can return to fighting.
Emblem:
A black bow pointing downward with a pair of blades crossed pointing down, overlapping the bow and meeting in the center, all on a light brown field.
Bio:
Nascha was born in a tribal faunus village in western Vale to the Sanuye tribe. She was the daughter of the village chief, and therefore held a position of privilege within the village. When she was six, her tribe merged with another, the Keezheekoni tribe, due to dwindling numbers in both. In order to solidify the two tribes' relationship, Nascha was sent to live with the chief of the Keezheekoni and his family, to be betrothed to his son, who was the same age.
She was taught to hunt and fight at a very young age, and she was abnormally skilled with a bow. Although the men of the village were often the only ones to go out to hunt, she would sneak into the hunting parties, dressed as a young boy, and join them. The disguise fooled very few of the hunters, but it gave them an excuse if she got caught. When she was only ten, an anti-faunus militant group attacked her newly-united tribe, slaughtering the inhabitants of the village. Nascha was forced to flee, alone, into the wilderness. She had only her bow, arrows, and a small flask of water, but she was able to survive for a few months before being found. She was discovered by a search party from the Vale government after they heard of the incident, and it consisted of only humans. They had been told to come out and search for any survivors, not knowing what they would find. As a result, Nascha nearly killed the lot of them when they came to her. However, they were able to convince her to go with them, and she was brought to Vale.
In Vale, she was sent to Signal to become a huntress, but she saw through the human’s indoctrination techniques. While she was there, she forged her weapon, but ran away at age 16, escaping back into the wilderness. By the time she was 18, she had joined up with the White Fang and began helping them in their fight. She was a fierce fighter, but disliked the White Fang’s goals of eradicating humanity. She wanted freedom through mutual respect and coexistence, not utter destruction of one race. Along with some comrades she met in the White Fang who shared her views, they broke away and formed their own group with the goal of creating an independent faunus haven, a place for faunus to go and be at peace. This group they named The
Ba'cho, the Wolves.
Equipment and Battle Info
Battle attire:
She has piercing white eyes and wears a necklace of canine teeth around her neck. She often has a set of canines that she hangs from her ears, and wears a simple white tunic. She wears a wolfskin cloak that reaches down to her waist and a simple pair of brown pants that reach slightly below her knees. Sometimes, if she is prepared for a battle or for the hunt, she will don war pain on her cheeks and around her eyes.
Fighting style:
Nascha has trained herself expertly with her bow, and as a result, will start off a confrontation at range, if possible. It is her preferred weapon when she goes hunting, able to kill an animal up to 100 yards. She has recently begun training more with her knives for more close-range ability, but she is still only of average skill when using them. She has also begun developing a style of fighting with one wheel detatched from her weapon, turning it into an unorthodox blade and using the string to both grapple and disarm enemies. She recieved minimal martial arts training while in Vale, and continued it on her own. She is a determined and fierce fighter, and will never accept defeat, more willing to die than to be beaten.

Ba'uchaahi

100 yards
Weapon type:
Bow-Dual Knife hybrid

It’s idler wheels are able to be detached easily to reveal the sharply pointed ends of the bow. A release switch on the grip separates the weapon in half, making two matching, curved, long knives.
Misc. Info
Family:
Nascha doesn’t know if either her parents or sister made it out of the attack on her village, but it has been 13 years since then, so she has assumed that they died in the attack.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
Nascha is a dead-eye with a bow, and is able to fight using her knives, but has received minimal training with them. Also, changing her weapon from one form to the other takes longer than she would like, making it difficult to do in the heat of battle unless she has support. She is swift and agile, able to dodge and deliver quick, accurate strikes. Her physical strength leaves something to be desired, and she doesn’t wear armour, meaning she focuses more on dodging than shrugging off damage.
